5 Kneading Tips That Every Thermomix® User Should Know

5 Kneading Tips That Every Thermomix® User Should Know

If you asked Thermomix® users about their main uses for the appliance, ‘making bread’ would be one of the most common answers. There’s a good reason for this.

After going with the Thermomix®, a majority of users start making their own bread instead of buying it. The device makes it fun to do it yourself, and you can create all kinds of bread that taste much better than the store-bought ones.

The kneading features of the Thermomix® are nothing short of impressive. You can make dough in no time and go through the entire kneading process with nothing more than the press of a button.

Simone from Simone’s Thermomix Essentials enjoys kneading very much, with her Thermomix® of course. This is why she’s decided to share some tips that everyone that wants to make their own bread should know:

  1. You can find the kneading button easily. It’s the one that has the wheat symbol, which people also refer to as the ‘interval speed’ button.
  2. To knead properly, the bowl’s temperature shouldn’t be higher than 37˚C.
  3. Always stay with your machine throughout the entire kneading process. The kneading dough, especially the stickier batches, can make the machine dance around on the counter, so you don’t want to leave it unattended.
  4. The fastest way to take the dough out of the bowl is to turn the bowl upside down and let the dough fall onto thebaking mat. Wiggle the bowl a bit to get it all out.
  5. If there are dough leftovers on the blade, place the bowl back into the Thermomix® and use the Turbo function. This will force the dough off the blades, and you can use asilicone spatula to remove the remnants from the sides.

If you follow these tips, kneading is going to be a breeze. We even have an awesome recipe for makingPerfect White Bread for you to follow.
