If you asked Thermomix® Appliance users about their main uses for the appliance, ‘making bread’ would be one of the most common answers. There’s a good reason for this.
After going with the Thermomix® Appliance, a majority of users start making their own bread instead of buying it. The device makes it fun to do it yourself, and you can create all kinds of bread that taste much better than the store-bought ones.
The kneading features of the Thermomix® Appliance are nothing short of impressive. You can make dough in no time and go through the entire kneading process with nothing more than the press of a button.
Aside from referring to the specific Thermomix® Appliance's user manual for detailed instructions on kneading, here are valuable tips to try to make your bread baking foolproof:
1. Use the right settings. When making dough, mix the ingredients on a low speed to incorporate the ingredients before kneading. The temperature of the Mixing Bowl shouldn’t be higher than 37˚C.
2. Never leave your machine unattended. When kneading dough, especially with stickier doughs, can make the machine dance around on the counter, so you don’t want to leave it unattended. This problem can be eliminated by placing your Thermomix® Appliance on one of ourSlide Board Deluxes. With its rubber padded footwells, ourSlide Board Deluxe will keep your Thermomix® Appliance in one spot when kneading
3. When it's time to remove dough from the Mixing Bowl, a handy technique is to turn the bowl upside down and twist the Blades on the underside of the Mixing Bowl. The dough will easily fall out without sticking to the blades or the bottom of the bowl. Use a baking mat to catch the dough as it falls out of the bowl, placing it underneath the inverted bowl.
4. After kneading the dough in your Thermomix® Appliance, you can use the Turbo function to remove any leftover dough on the blades.
To ensure that all the remnants are removed from the sides of the Mixing Bowl, use aspatula. Gently scrape the sides, making sure to gather any remaining dough and incorporate it back into the main dough mass.
