4 Easy Tips For Making Your Cocktails With Your ThermomixⓇ

4 Easy Tips For Making Your Cocktails With Your ThermomixⓇ

There is a fine art to crafting cocktails, but that shouldn't deter anyone from making drinks at home. In fact, less is more.

You and your Thermomix can bring the simplicity out of some of the most well-known drinks, like margaritas or daiquiris. Remove those fancy umbrellas and garnishes, you can have a great tasting cocktail that is made easy with your ThermomixⓇ.

Let’s talk about how you can make a perfect cocktail.

1. Keep it simple.

Achieving a fine cocktail doesn’t need to be complicated and fancy. You just need 3 main ingredients: mixer, spirit, and, of course, ice. With these basic ingredients, you can create a delicious cocktail with sugar, liquor, and lime.

2. Perfect balance.

The cocktail recipe is important. And all great recipes have one thing in common, and that is a balance of flavour. You need to taste all the cocktail components.

A balanced drink is composed of two elements: sweet and sour. The two are opposite ends but you need to put your cocktail in the middle.

For example, the Espresso Martini is easy to prepare with your ThermomixⓇ. The important thing is to get the right ratio of sugar, to coffee and booze. If the recipe is out of balance the cocktail will fail miserably and will be too strong, too bitter, or too sweet.

3. Shake or stir.

Yes, you can use your Thermie to dilute your drink but it depends on the cocktail you want to make. Boozy drinks like Martini, Manhattan, or Gimlets are for stirring which is perfect in your Thermie but citrus drinks like Margarita and Daiquiri are better prepared by shaking.

4. The Right Liquor.

Avoid using expensive liquors just to impress your friends. Top-shelf liquors are better enjoyed on their own without any mixtures as it may ruin the taste. It is better to pick a brand that suits well for cocktails. You need a liquor that will enhance with mixers, not the one that stands on its own.
