3 Thermomix® Hacks Every User Should Try

If you’re a new Thermomix® user, you might still be adjusting to the new way of cooking. Exploring all the features of this appliance can be a long process since there are so many things to try.

Even if you’re a long-time user, there are always new things that you can learn. If you want to up your Thermomix® game, there are a few hacks that you can use.

1. Use the Measuring Cup as a Cookie Cutter.

Both the TM5 and TM31 come with measuring cups that can double as cookie cutters.

With the TM31’s cup, you can get a perfectly round shape to create virtually any type of cookies.

The one that comes with the TM5 allows for even more creativity. You can use the edge to create indentations and make all kinds of fun shapes.

If you or your little ones love interestingly-shaped cookies, another option for is our adorableLil Teddy Cookie Cutters.

2. Use the Thermomix® Lid to Separate Eggs

Unless you have a ton of experience with this, separating eggs can be a hit or miss.

Many people will tell you that they’ve failed more times than they’ve succeeded. Thankfully, the lid of your Thermomix® can make separating eggs a hassle-free process.

All you have to do is place the measuring cup in its place and crack the egg on the top of the lid. The egg white will fall into the bowl and the yolk will stay in the lid. If you want to use the yolk, simply tip it into a separate bowl.

3. Drain Large Amounts of Food with Your Varoma

If you need to drain foods such as pasta and rice, your Varoma can be just the right tool.

You can do this easily by placing the lower tray in the sink and draining the food in the Varoma. Just lift it and let all the water go away. This is perfect if you need a quick way of draining food for cooking in your Thermomix®.

It’s surprising that your Thermomix® can serve purposes that extend beyond the designed uses.

Happy Thermomixing!
