5 Ingredient Whipped Avocado Body Butter

Skip the spa trip and indulge in a nourishing skin treatment at home with just 5 ingredients and your Thermomix® Appliance. Try our Whipped Avocado Body Butter, packed with rich and natural oils to keep your skin soft and supple. You can easily find these skin care ingredients at health food stores or online. Treat yourself to a little self-care with this easy and luxurious DIY body butter.

Ingredients:

• 200g raw shea butter
• 30g avocado oil
• 15g vegetable glycerin
• 50g cocoa butter
• 30 drops essential oils of your choice

Directions: 

• Place all ingredients except essential oil into Mixing Bowl and mix for 4 min/65°C/Speed 2 or until everything has melted
• Allow contents to cool to 50°C
• Add essential oils and mix body butter for 30 sec/Speed 2
• Place Butterfly in position by positioning it against the blunt side of the back of the highest blade
• Place Mixing Bowl in the fridge for 60 minutes to allow the mixture to cool.
• With Butterfly in place, whip Body Butter for 15 min/Speed 2. Increase speed to 2.5 for the last 60 seconds.
• Spoon into sterilised jars and cap.
