5 Ingredient Orange Steamed Pudding

Tropical Orange Steamed Pudding

This delicious recipe by one of our lovely customers Vanita and was inspired by the colour orange and yellow.  And hence this very tropical fruit themed pudding was born.  If you’re looking for something different than traditional dark fruit pudding then this is a good one to try.

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons golden syrup
70g self-raising flour
70g brown sugar
70g butter, room temperature
1 large egg

 

Method:

  1. Grease Silicone Muffin Mold generously with butter.
  2. Measure 3 tablespoons of golden syrup equally into the molds.
  3. Mix the flour and sugar for 3 sec/Speed 5.
  4. Add the butter and eggs and mix for 10 sec/Speed 4.
  5. Scrape down the sides and mix for a further 5 sec/Speed 4.
  6. Spoon the mixture evenly into the Silicone Muffin Mold .
  7. Rinse Mixing Bowl and add 1 litre of water to bowl and set the Varoma® Appliance in place.
  8. Steam the puddings for 25 min/100°C/Speed 2.
  9. When cooking time has finished tip puddings out of the Muffin Molds into
    serving bowls and serve with cream or ice cream.
