Thick, Creamy, Pot Set Yoghurt

Everyone loves the taste of homemade yoghurt, and with your Thermomix® TM6® Appliance and Fermentation mode, it's easier than ever to create this creamy, delicious and healthy treat in the comfort of your own kitchen.

This simple yoghurt recipe calls for just a few ingredients and takes minimal effort, allowing you to enjoy homemade natural pot set yoghurt all year round. With the added benefit of being able to control the ingredients and avoid unnecessary additives, this recipe is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy a healthy and nutritious snack.

This recipe can be doubled if you have one of our V Stackers and 2 sets of TM Essentials Yoghurt Jars to easily make a dozen pots of yoghurt. 


Ingredients:

  • 800g full cream milk
  • 100g milk powder
  • 80g pot set yoghurt
  • 50g cream
  • 50g sugar (optional)
  • 250g water
  • 30g lemon juice or vinegar

Directions:

  • Place milk, milk powder, yoghurt, cream and sugar (if using) in Mixing Bowl. Mix for 30 sec/Speed 4 then heat 10 min/40°C/Speed 1.
  • Pour yoghurt mixture into six TM Essentials Yoghurt Jars and close jars with their lids. Arrange in centre of Varoma® Appliance dish.
  • Place water and lemon juice in Mixing Bowl. Place covered Varoma® Appliance into position and start 10h/70°C/ Fermentation mode.
  • Remove from Varoma® Appliance and place jars in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving. Store in the fridge for up to 8 days.
