Malteser Slice

Malteser Slice

Indulge your sweet tooth with our easy-to-make Malteser Slice using your Thermomix® Appliance. This crowd-pleaser has been a favourite in our home for years, and it's sure to satisfy the chocolate lovers in your house.

With a layer of crispy chocolate on the bottom, followed by crushed Maltesers and topped with melted chocolate, each bite is a heavenly delight. Perfect for a quick and easy dessert or snack, this recipe is a must-try for any chocolate lover!

Ingredients: 

  • 150g sweetened condensed milk
  • 100g butter
  • 250g plain chocolate biscuits, broken into pieces
  • 155g Maltesers
  • 250g milk chocolate
  • 100g dark chocolate

Directions:

  1. Line a 20 x 30cm slice tin with baking paper or a TM Essentials Baking Liner.
  2. Place the sweetened condensed milk and butter in the Mixing Bowl and melt for 3 min/90°C/Speed 3.
  3. Add the biscuits and chop for 15 sec/Speed 6.
  4. Press the base of the slice into the prepared slice tin.
  5. Set aside 20 Maltesers for finishing the slice. 
  6. Add remaining Maltesers and chop for 2 sec/Speed 4. Spread over the top of the base.
  7. Without cleaning the Mixing Bowl, add the milk and dark chocolates. Melt  for 3 min/90°C/Speed 2. Pour over the top of the slice.
  8. Top with the reserved Maltesers.
  9. Refrigerate for 1 hour until set. 
  10. Cut into 20 pieces.

*Keeps for 4-5 days.
