2 Ingredient Coconut Cream

Need coconut cream for your next Thai feast? Look no further than this homemade Coconut Cream recipe! With only two simple ingredients and your Thermomix® Appliance, you'll have a creamy and versatile coconut cream that's perfect for all kinds of recipes.

Once you try it, you won't want to go back to store-bought coconut cream again. Plus, it's gluten-free and can be used as a dairy replacement in a variety of dishes. Get ready to elevate your cooking and try this Coconut Cream recipe today!

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams shredded or dessicated coconut
  • 150 grams water

Directions: 

  1. Place coconut into Mixing Bowl and mill for 20 sec/Speed 9
  2. Add water and allow to soak for 5 minutes
  3. Cook for 3 min/120 °C/Speed 2
  4. Mix for 1 min/Speed 9
  5. Strain the mixture through a Nut Milk Bag placed over the Simmering Basket over a large bowl or the Mixing Bowl. When using the Nut Milk Bag, close the bag at the top and squeeze to get all the liquid out. Once cool, firmly squeeze to extract milk
  6. Alternatively, pour directly into one of our Greek Yoghurt Strainers to strain the mixture.
  7. Store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze.
