Cob Loaf with Blue Cheese Dip

Not only is this dish delicious, but it's also impressive to look at. The golden-brown crust of the cob loaf makes for a stunning presentation, and it's so easy to make. Simply mix together the Blue Cheese Dip ingredients in your Thermomix® Appliance, hollow out the cob loaf, and pour in the dip. Bake in the oven until the crust is crispy and the dip is hot and bubbly.

This Blue Cheese Dip is also versatile and can be served with a variety of dippers, including crackers, veggies, and chips. It's perfect for sharing with a crowd, but it's also great for a cozy night in with loved ones. No matter how you serve it, this Blue Cheese Dip baked in a crusty cob loaf is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

Cob Loaf with Blue Cheese Dip
1 large cob loaf
2 cloves garlic
250g cream cheese
300g sour cream
150g blue cheese
2 tbsp parsley
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
dash tabasco sauce
pinch salt
pinch pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. Cut the 4cm layer off top of cob loaf to form a lid and pull inner soft bread out to make an open bread bowl
  3. Wrap the soft bread pieces in foil
  4. Drop garlic cloves in bowl and chop for 5 sec/Speed 10. Scrape down the sides
  5. Add remaining ingredients and mix for 20 sec/Speed 5
  6. Pour the dip into the cob loaf. Replace the bread lid
  7. Place the bread lid on and wrap in foil
  8. Bake cob loaf and bread pieces for 60 minutes at 180°C
  9. Serve using the bread pieces and crust of cob loaf to serve
