Cleaning your Thermomix® Appliance Guide

The Thermomix® Appliance has become a game-changer in the world of cooking. However, to keep your Thermomix® Appliance working at its best, you need to maintain it properly by cleaning it regularly. In this post, we'll share some top tips on how to clean your Thermomix® Appliance to keep it in pristine condition.

1. Cleaning the Mixing Bowl and Lid

The Mixing Bowl and Lid are one of the most important parts of the Thermomix® Appliance that require cleaning after every use. To clean the Mixing Bowl, remove it from the base and wash with warm soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge like the Eco Scourer. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean tea towel. The Mixing Bowl Lid can be washed in the dishwasher, but it is recommended to place it on the top rack of your dishwasher.

2. Cleaning the Blades

The Mixing Bowl Blades are the workhorse of your Thermomix® Appliance for all the chopping, grinding and mixing of your recipes. It's essential that these are removed from the Mixing Bowl and cleaned thoroughly when you finish cooking.

To clean the Blades, fill the Mixing Bowl with warm water and a drop of washing detergent. Run the Thermomix® Appliance on high speed for a few seconds, then rinse the Blades thoroughly with clean water.

To clean the base, unplug the Thermomix® Appliance and wipe the base clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water, as this will damage the motor.

5. Cleaning the Accessories that come with your Thermomix® Appliance

The accessories that come with your Thermomix® Appliance, such as the Spatula, Measuring Cup and Butterfly Whisk are all dishwasher safe. Or they can be washed with warm soapy water and rinsed thoroughly.
