Baked Cinnamon Doughnuts

Baked Cinnamon Doughnuts

Discover how easy it is to make delicious Baked Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts with your Thermomix® Appliance. Unlike their deep-fried counterparts, these fluffy treats are healthier and just as tasty. After baking, coat them in a sweet cinnamon sugar mixture for an irresistible finish.

Plus, this recipe can be easily halved to make a smaller batch, but trust us, you'll want to make the full recipe!

Ingredients:

Cinnamon sugar

  • 50g sugar
  • ¾ tsp ground cinnamon

Doughnuts

  • 60g butter
  • 200g milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 180g self-raising flour
  • 100g sugar

Directions: 

Cinnamon sugar:

  • Place sugar and cinnamon into Mixing Bowl and mill for 4 sec/Speed 8.
  • Set aside in a shallow bowl.

Doughnuts:

  • Preheat oven to 180°C.
  • Spray 2 TM Essentials Doughnut Molds with oil and place on an oven tray.
  • Place butter in Mixing Bowl and melt 2 min/80°C/Speed 2.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix for 10 sec/Speed 4.
  • Pour batter into each cavity of the form.
  • Bake for 17-20 minutes or until golden.
  • Remove from oven and leave to cool until just warm to touch.
  • Gently flip, loosen from around doughnuts.
  • Roll in cinnamon sugar and serve
