5 Ingredient Steamed Pork with Black Beans

My family loves this 5 Ingredient Steamed Pork with Black Beans for a quick and easy mid week dinner. Salted black beans are available from Asian supermarkets and add a delicious rich flavour to this super quick and easy dish using your Varoma® Appliance. Plus it's Gluten Free if you use Gluten Soy Sauce and Oyster Sauce.

Ingredients:

10g garlic cloves
50g salted black beans
40g oyster sauce
60g light soy sauce
400g pork belly or pork loin thinly sliced

Directions:

  1. Place the garlic in the Mixing Bowl and chop for 3 sec/Speed 8.
  2. Add the salted black beans and chop for 1 sec/Turbo Speed. 
  3. Scrape down the sides.
  4. Add the oyster sauce and soy sauce. Mix for 5 sec/Speed 2. 
  5. Place the pork on a TM Essentials Stainless Steel Steaming Dish in the Varoma® Appliance
  6. Add the black bean sauce mix and mix well.
  7. Without rinsing, add 1000g water to the Mixing Bowl.
  8. Place lid and Varoma® Appliance in place.
  9. Steam for 25 min/100°C/Speed 2 until the pork is cooked.

Vegetables can be added to the bottom section of the Varoma® Appliance in the last 5-7 minutes of cooking.
