Dark Chocolate Panna Cotta

Do you ever crave something chocolatey but don't really want to go to the shops for ingredients? Our 5 ingredient chocolate panna cotta needs only a few staples, some time to set and your chocolate cravings will be satisfied. Quick and easy to make with our TM Essentials Stainless Steel Dariole Molds. Dust with cocoa powder and top with fresh raspberries for the ultimate treat.

Dark Chocolate Panna Cotta

10g powdered gelatin
180g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
100g sugar
500g cream
150g milk

Directions:

  1. Weigh 50g water into a small bowl
  2. Sprinkle the gelatin and stir to combine. Set aside
  3. Place chocolate and sugar in Mixing Bowl and mill for 10 sec/Speed 9
  4. Add cream and milk to Mixing Bowl and heat for 4 min/80ºC/Speed 2
  5. Add reserved gelatin mixture and mix for 30 sec/Speed 3
  6. Divide between 6 x TM Essentials Stainless Steel Dariole Molds
  7. Set in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight
  8. To serve, dip each Dariole Mold in a bowl of hot water for 3 seconds. Run a knife around the edge of each Dariole Mold and invert mold onto the centre of a small plate
  9. Dust with cocoa powder and top with fresh raspberries

Hi Aparna, Panna Cotta needs gelatin to set. You can substitute agar-agar in the same quantity for gelatin. It’s available in Asian supermarkets.
